WHISTLER REAL ESTATE NEWS - JULY 2022

• The median sale price for all properties in Whistler in 2022 is $1,495,000 vs $1,281,550 in 2021.
• Median days to sell in July 2022: 32 Days. This has more than tripled since the peak of the market in February 2022 where the median days to sell was just 10 days.
• There have been 317 sales in Whistler year to date vs 816 sales in 2021. The lowest sales volume in the last decade was 524 sales in 2012. We are on pace to break that record in 2022.
• There are currently 212 listing on the market. 31 of these listings were reduced in July 2022. 
• Listing inventory has more than doubled since the 95 active listings on the market in December 2021. There were 382 listings on the market in July 2020.
• With properties taking longer to sell and more listings hitting the market, I predict further price reductions right across the board.
• If you are looking to get into the market, there will be some excellent opportunities for those that are ready.
